Our Club
The Ladies Association of Walden was formed in 1980 and was officially organized with the State of Texas as a non-profit organization under the IRS Section 501(c)7 as a Social and Recreation club on March 20, 1989.

The Ladies Association of Walden sponsors many interest groups and a monthly luncheon to promote social activities and fellowship among its members. Luncheon programs include a wide variety of presentations and entertainment, including fashion shows, musicians, authors, guest speakers, and more.
The Association also publishes a monthly newsletter from August through June. Members have many opportunities to meet new friends and enjoy our numerous interest groups, many of which meet in members’ homes.
Membership is open to all property owners and/or residents of Walden. Annual membership dues are $30.00 and include the monthly newsletter, luncheon program costs, and eligibility to participate in interest groups. Membership renewals for existing members begin July 1 of each year.
Monthly Luncheons
Join us for our monthly luncheons to get acquainted with your neighbors and fellow Association members. Luncheon meetings are held at Walden’s Lakeview Dining (formerly known as the Yacht Club) at 11:30 a.m. on the first Friday of each month, with the exception of June and July. The luncheon cost is $25.00 for members. No shorts or jeans, please.
Reservations are required by 2:00 p.m. on the Monday preceding the luncheon and may be made online through our Event Calendar page.
Cancellations & Waitlist
We understand that plans can change, even after the Monday reservation deadline. If you are unable to attend after the 2:00 p.m. Monday cutoff, please contact the Reservation Chair as soon as possible. Your reservation may be cancelled without charge only if your spot can be filled by someone on the waitlist.
If a luncheon is full and you would like to be added to the waitlist, please contact the Reservation Chair. As cancellations occur, the Reservation Chair will work to fill available spots with members on the waitlist.
Even if you need to cancel at the last minute, please let us know. Another member may be hoping for an opportunity to attend, and notifying us gives us the best chance to fill your seat. Please remember that cancellations after the deadline can only be accepted if another member is able to fill your spot.
